Adopt your own reborn/fake lifelike baby doll

Over the last 4 years I have met many new people who adopted my Little Jewel Babies. I have babies all over the US, Canada, Russia, United Kingdom, Australia, Indonesia, Singapore and on the Island of Malta. It is very hard for me to box and ship my Little Jewel Babies, but very satisfying to hear how happy they have made the new Mommies. What a beautiful girl! So cuddly and she feels so much like a real baby and it brings back all the old maternal reflexes from long, long ago! Looking into her eyes, I know how the name "Little Jewel Babies" came into being, for her eyes do look like jewels. I just can NOT imagine a prettier baby, but she is definitely for cuddling, not just for looking at. She was meant for me because the weight of her body (that is amazing how you simulate that weight) against my stomach is comforting and that she came at a time I would be in need of that comforting since I just went through gall bladder surgery. My name is Rae Ann and I am the artist of these Little Jewel Babies. I have been 'reborning/newborning' for 4 years now. It has been so much fun and such a wonderful learning experience. I have also met many wonderful people all around the world.

I live in beautiful Southern Oregon setting above farm land, hills and have a fantastic view of Mt Shasta in California. It is a very private and quiet setting.

All of my life I have loved dolls and real babies. My Dad told me when I was a little girl that I would have a dozen babies of my own some day. I let him know that I would be having two!!! He said that I loved babies to much to only have two. But I do have two beautiful children who are now adults. My son lives in Southern California. My daughter, who does and keeps this website for me, lives in Texas. How I thank her for all her hard work on this site.

I did get my baby fixes while my children were growing up by having a day care in my home for newborns to 3-year-olds. I loved each and every little precious baby just like my own. They all brought me much enjoyment and laughter.

I am a homemaker now but had taken care of my elderly in-laws for 8 years till my father-in-law had to have more special care. So now I am truly an empty nester for the first time since my son left the nest. I am now able to devote more time to creating new life-like baby dolls and oh the fun I am having...

4 years ago I stumbled across reborn babies and was intrigued as to what they were. I found that they were the most beautiful realistic looking dolls. I fell in love with them! I had been thinking about doing something at home as a hobby for quite some time and I realized that this was exactly what I was looking for. I began to study and research on how to reborn/newborn a baby doll and then began to get my supplies together to start this new and wonderful adventure that I have been on since. I am still learning, studying and improving this art to this day. I am now using Genesis Heat Set Oil Paints and just love them. The texture they produce really add to the realism to each baby. And I love the durability of the paints. I am really impress with them...

I have experience in working with water and oil color paints. I made and sold porcelain dolls in the late 1980's and early 1990's. I learned to sew when I was 13-years-old and now I am in my fifties. Wow time does fly! I even made my own wedding dress in 1975. This comes in handy with the reborn/newborn babies as I sew their new cloth bodies and even some of them get a home sewn baby outfit made just for them. I have been knitting since I was 13 and you may see some knitted items on these babies knitted by me. Knitting helps me through the short and dark days of the year to stay awake till bed time! It is so much fun to make those little baby clothes. This adds to their uniqueness since no other baby will have the same thing to wear.
